A Bit of Info on Comments
As much as I love comments on my articles, I hate spam.
SPAM IS CLUTTER!
As an organizing and productivity consultant it is my job to ensure that you get as much useful information as you can. In order to stop spam, I have spam filters in place (Akismet rocks) and I delete any spam-type comments.
Comments are as important as anything I write myself and they add to the organizing knowledge base so here are a few guidelines on being an organized and productive contributor.
Keep comments on topic. Please feel free to share, discuss, comment or ask questions. We may remove or re-classify comments that are off topic.
Be nice and be polite. Not everyone agrees with everything and dissenting points of view make our experiences richer. Please be respectful of the authors, those who comment and the readers. Nastiness and profanity will be deleted.
Add relevant links. If you’re leaving a comment and want to share a link to your own website or someone else’s site that is relevant to the topic then please do. This adds to the conversation and increases our knowledge of organizing products and services. Comments with links that have no relevance to the article may be deleted.
Answers to a few questions
Why isn’t my comment showing up?
If this is your first time commenting, I have to approve you. That might take a little while if I’m out of the office for the day. Sometimes good comments get held in the spam queue especially if they have extra long links or typographical symbols (?%&$) in the links. If you don’t see your comment in a day or so, contact us and we’ll find out what happened to it.
Can I link to J-organize from my own site?
Yes, please do! You can link to the home page or a specific article. Let me know if you do so I can send my thanks!
Would you link back to my site?
My goal is to bring as much value to my readership and customers as possible. Contact us and we’ll see how we can do business together.
