Thanks for your comment Allison. My iPod Touch replaced my ancient Palm too. It took me awhile to get used to the keypad on the iPod Touch (instead of using the stylus with the Palm) but now I can go pretty fast with one finger!

I love my ipod touch too! I don't need the phone, but needed the organization.
It replaced my ancient palm - now my contacts are synced and always with me and same for my calendar. My notes also get synced so I can keep a grocery/shopping list on the desktop and it goes with me.
My favorite reason to have it now though is really because it keeps me from getting mad when I have to wait in lines. I can play with some apps and I'm not frustrated when it finally gets to be my turn.
Ditto for kids waiting at restaurants.

Thanks for your comment Janet. Technology certainly changes at an incredible rate. It is very hard to keep up to date on the latest things. I try to find stuff that works with what my client's already have but sometimes it no longer exists because everyone has upgraded. It's hard because my clients can't always afford to upgrade and neither can I ;-)

Oops - I should have said "Technology as an Organizing Tool" - doesn't make much sense the other way around, does it?!?

Jacki, this type of post is one of the reasons I stopped writing the Organizing as a Technology Tool blog... I love technology but I can't keep up with all the new gadgets!
